This upcoming color of the Adidas Crazy 8 is the brand’s version of a nod to Kobe’s US hometown of Philadelphia.
It sports a red suede upper with white strips on the medial and lateral sides forming the Three Stripes branding. Blue royal can be seen on the Three Stripes branding on the lateral ankle and tongue, while the “adidas” text shows up in white, also on the lateral ankle and tongue. The Feet You Wear mascot and additional branding appear in red on the tongue and toe box, respectively, with blue and white pull tabs rounding out the upper.
Underneath a white midsole and white and blue rubber outsole completes this good, but unfinished looking aesthetic.
Currently, the “Philly” Adidas Crazy 8 is slated to debut this spring at adidas.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 150 USD sticker price.
